Khurram Muraad Siddiquie

Khurram Muraad Siddiquie is a student of master’s in linguistics at the University of Hyderabad. An aspiring poet, he writes in English, Urdu, and Dakhni. He builds images through words by exaggerating the elements in our immediate surroundings. He has been part of poetry societies in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Aligarh. He has been performing poetry as a medium of resistance against the tyrannies of the self and the other. He is an admirer of the German poet Rilke and is greatly influenced by Persian poetics. Be-dil, Meer, Goethe, Iqbal, and Gibran are a few of his favourite poets.
