K Satchidanandan

K Satchidanandan is perhaps the most translated of contemporary Indian poets. He has 24 collections of poetry, four books of travel, a full length play, a collection of one-act plays, two books for children, several collections of critical essays, and world poetry in translation. His publications include While I Write (2011), Misplaced Objects and Other Poems (2013), The Missing Rib: Collected Poems (2016), Not Only the Oceans (2018), Questions from the Dead, and The Whispering Tree: Poems of Love and Longing (2020). He has recently co-edited (with Nishi Chawla), Singing in the Dark: A Global Anthology of Poetry Under Lockdown (2020). He has won more then 50 literary awards.
