Hazel Wood read English and Drama at Bristol University, began her working life on Vogue, and has laboured variously as a reviewer, literary editor, feature writer, ghostwriter, and editor at the publisher John Murray. Publications which she has contributed to are The Times, the Sunday Times, the Sunday Telegraph and the Mail on Sunday. In 2004, with Gail and Steph, she founded Slightly Foxed and since then has been Co-Editor.
