Dinesh C Sharma is an award-winning journalist reporting on science and technology for national and international media. He was the Science Editor at Mail Today and Founding Managing Editor at India Science Wire. He is also the author of The Outsourcer: The Story of India’s IT Revolution (2015) which won the Computer History Museum Book Prize in 2016, and Indian Innovation, Not Jugaad (2022) which is about 100 innovations that transformed India in the past 75 years. Beyond Biryani: The Modernising of Hyderabad is his forthcoming book. He is a post-graduate in communication and journalism from Osmania University and a doctorate from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
