Vrinda Grover is a lawyer, researcher, and human rights activist. She obtained her law degree from Delhi University and her Masters in Law from New York University. She specialises in constitutional law, criminal law, and human rights and has contributed to the drafting of laws to protect women and children from domestic violence and sexual violence. She played a key role in campaigning for amendment of criminal laws relating to sexual violence against women which led to the passing of The Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2013. SOAS, University of Londonconferred an Honorary Degree (2018) on her in recognition of her contribution to human rights and civil liberties.
