Rajendra Singh 

Rajendra Singh is a well-known water conservationist and environmentalist. Known as the “Waterman of India”, he won the Stockholm Water Prize in 2015. He runs the NGO “Tarun Bharat Sangh” (TBS) which started from a single village in 1985 and has over the years helped build over 8,600 johads and other water conservation structures, brought water back to over 1,000 villages, and revived five rivers in Rajasthan. He is a member of the National Ganga River Basin Authority (NGRBA) and founder member of the UK-based NGO “Flow Partnership” which aims to counter the negative effects of soil erosion and flooding
