Madhu Reddy redesigns the family farm in Telangana according to the principles of permaculture to make it a sustainable as well as regenerative working model. She converts a monoculture orchard into a multi-fruit orchard interspersed with dry land crops. She markets the farm produce directly to urban consumers through farmers markets and customer supported agriculture. She also connects the urban consumer to the good food movement, and through farm visits, workshops, and social media creates awareness about the importance of the good food movement for personal and planetary health. An avid traveller and a photographer she uses the medium to add a visual perspective to her work.
