Graziano Krätli

Graziano Krätli has published Italian translations of the works of Kipling, Poe, James Hogg, Robert Lax; essays on Native American and Indian poetry; anglophone Indian literature; and the various aspects of book production, circulation and preservation in West Africa. He is the editor (with Ghislaine Lydon) of The Trans-Saharan Book Trade: Manuscript Culture, Arabic Literacy and Intellectual History in Muslim Africa (2010); Why Should I Write a Poem Now: The Letters of Srinivas Rayaprol and William Carlos Williams 1949-1958 (2018); Srinivas Rayaprol’s Angular Desire: Selected Poems and Prose (with Vidyan Ravinthiran, 2020), and Srinivas Rayaprol’s Random Harvest: Selected Poems and Prose (forthcoming). He is a librarian at Yale University.
