Ameer Shahul

Ameer Shahul focuses on healthcare and climate change. His debut book, Heavy Metal: How a Global Corporation Poisoned Kodaikanal (2023), won the GreenLitFest Book of the Year Award 2024 and was longlisted for the Tata Literature Live! Awards 2023. It was translated into Tamil and is being adapted into a feature film in Hindi by Netflix. His second book, Vaccine Nation: How Immunisation Shaped India (2025), traces India’s two centuries of vaccine journey. His next book, The Silent Syndicate (2026), which explores the Western capture of Indian healthcare, is followed by Liquid Empire (2027). He held leadership roles in global corporations and was a journalist with international newswires.
